Ombudsman suspends PhilHealth officials in ₱2.7-B flawed loans

 Eight officials of the beset Philippine Health Insurance Corporation were suspended for their supposed inclusion in abnormal loans worth over ₱2.7 billion.

The request, marked by Ombudsman Samuel Martires, originated from a protest recorded by the National Bureau of Investigation over the arrival of assets under the disputable Interim Reimbursement Mechanism.
